Didi's Pizza

If there is one comfort food that is truly Kapampangan for me, except for Mila's sisig (or Lucing's, I know die-hard Lucingers out there will demand that Lucing's be mentioned as well), is the one and only Didi's Pizza.
The dilapidated, has-seen-better-days, with hot sauce smears, Didi's menu

Didi's serve other things like burgers, pasta and rice meals (see online menu here) but the one thing that every Kapampangan loves is their Combination Pizza.
My sister, caressing the Didi's Pizza box, showing it all the love it deserves before we gobble it up in under an hour
I don't recall any important family gathering that we had that did NOT have a Didi's Pizza on the table. For us, a family get-together without Didi's Pizza is like having green mangoes without bagoong (shrimp paste). It ain't right, y'alls!
Mouth, stop watering. Love, embarassed Christia in coffee shop
Didi's Combination Pizza for me has the spot-on taste that is requested by my very Kapampangan tongue. The crust is not too thin and not too thick, it is crunchy without losing its taste and the toppings aren't overcooked that the individual taste per topping dances in your mouth like energetic Oompa-loompas.
Oompa loompa 1: Ooohhh feel the mushroom, Oompa loompa 2: Heyyy I am the green bell pepper

Recap
Needs improvement:
Their service crew needs customer service training. You need to guide yourself in this restaurant, look for your own table if the place is packed. Which is every frickin' night.
Also, do not go here during peak dinner hours lest you want to wait for your pizza for an hour. You also need to wait for 30 minutes for your table. So best to call in for reservations.

What we like:
COMBINATION pizza. *drools*
And if you do visit this place, say hello to the eerily big fish with a bulbous forehead near the entrance for me.

Verdict:
Their not-so-ideal service will not keep me from this pizza.

How to contact them and how to get there?

sayang naman if they lose customers because of slow service, 20-30minutes of waiting time for pizza is ok.

Gotta try that Combo Pizza!

I'm not sure but I believe Pizza cannot be 'half-cooked' so it really take time for it to be served. It's good to ask if they have something in their menu that can be served while waiting for your pizza.

Have you heard of Gino's brick oven pizza? It's also really good. Doesn't have that Combo pizza you've been talking about though.

There is one pizzeria in Italy that you have to wait for 2-3 hours to get your table. Although it takes 5 minutes to cook the pizza and a minute to prepare, yet the people on the queue are not complaning. They waited outside for authentic pizza. If I am one of them I already lose my appetite. Good thing it's not my food to heaven.

what makes it stand out from other pizza? looks yummy though... fav din kasi namin ang pizza. Yahweh bless.

@traveller - hahaha pag nakaluwagluwag I will.
@ ralph - it has the perfect crust and toppings ratio for me and all flavors stand out! :)

I loved the part where you opened the box and finally revealed what's inside. Nakakatakam! Yum, yum. Hmmm... Didi's huh? Will have to remember that. Pero marami na rin mga pizzarias na naglalabasan, maraming masasarap na local nga.

@ion - a friend said though na nandiri siya sa name of the pizza lol
